Margarets’ daughter, Maggie, like millions of little
girls, is inseparable from her dolls. She
strolls them, rocks them, feeds them, and loves them just like mommies do
with their babies. But she could not
ride them on the back of her bike, like today’s active mom’s do with their
“babies”. During the holiday season
of 1999, Margaret’s then four-year-old daughter, Maggie, asked for a doll
seat for her doll. Margaret, thinking
this was a pretty neat idea and not wanting to disappoint her daughter, searched
in vain for a toy that would allow Maggie to ride with her dolls, while she
rode her bike. She was astonished
that no toy manufacturer had addressed this need. So, Margaret, a pediatric nurse and mother
of three, addressed this need in an innovative and creative way. She decided if this product did not exist,
it should. She told her idea to an
enthusiastic friend and together, they brainstormed on how to make a toy that
would safely allow little girls to ride their bikes and bring their dolls
along. After years of hard work and
help from many talented friends, the dream has become a reality. Maggie, now 9 years old, is just as excited
today as she was 4 years ago “Dolly,
Come Ride With Me” is a mom’s answer to her daughter’s dream.
Now, it can be the answer to the dreams of all the little girls in your life!
